areJare Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 I was looking for some simple and fairly inexspensive ways to increase the performance of my Banshee and the K&N style airfilter from F.A.S.T. caught my eye. So i was wondering if this increased performance much or if it's mainly just for looks. Also it almost looks like it can only be externally mounted to the engine for drag bikes or something that doesn't encounter much water so would i need to modify my stock airbox or jsut it just replace the stock filter. link below http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=87 Quote
theshee Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 You remove the airbox and those hook onto the carbs. Pretty good cheap mod, more air makes more power! Quote
fastrthnu Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 yea, theyll make more power, but with more air, you need more fuel, so get some jets to bump it up too. Quote
375hp banshees Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 & if you remove your air box gota do something w/ overflow tank fyi Quote
Leadfoot350 Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 (edited) get filters at tsracing.com. Look at filters and they are called s&b filters. Shhhhh dont tell anyone else though. This should be a direct link to the filters. You can get outerwears there too. CHEAP. I hope I dont get banned for this. http://www.tsracing.com/store/showprod.cfm...ectGroup_ID=120 Edited May 13, 2007 by Leadfoot350 Quote
