would anybody know what kind of oil

well my sister trailblazer hasn't had an oil change for about 7 years so i think its time and i dont have a manual so i have no clue what kind of oil i should use

 

would i just use ATF?

im also probably going to use ATF in my banshee so i want to know if any have friction modifires

is there a spacific brand of ATF that is super quality because i well probably use mobile 1 or penzoil

ATF seems thinare you guys sure it is safe to run?

 

i know i am anal about my banshee but its because i worked hard for it being only 14

Uh... I would get some 2 stroke oil to run in them. You dont change the oil in a two stroke, the oil mixes with the gas to lubricate the motor. Your banshee is premix and the trailblazer is an oil injected system. Get some yamalube for premix for the banshee and some yamalube that works with an oil injection system for the trailblazer.

i think he's talking about the tranny oil. you're right about using 2 stroke oil that's designed for an oil injection system in the TB for the gas and oil mix.

some people use ATF in the banshee tranny without issues. i've always used 10w-40 in my dirt bikes (2 strokes), my shee, my wife's 250ex 4 stroke, and my daughter's 50cc 4 stroke with out any issues.

oh haha i forgot to say tranny oil

but yeah i use yamalube in my banshee and want to run something better grade but i want to know what works well and if ATF works good and if any ATF has friction mods in them

 

im not an idiot im just new to banshees i know how they work and what not i know my stuff for my age

i just want to run whats good and trying to find out what to buy

Glad thats what you meant... I was worried for a sec. Anyway if you want quality for your banshee get some Klotz oil. Works great, and smells even better! Thats what I use, and I use Royal Purple syncromax in the tranny. It works great as well!
