kaotik1 Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 The biggest factory in coating is to make sure the shop is decent clean, and will back their work. Second question is with the price is the prep included, this should include a bake off, sandblasting, tape and plugging holes, as well as the coating. As far as a banshee frame is concerned for coating, they concider it a large frame with sub-frame, there is minimal tape work involved, but a ton of plugging. Area to tape off is the inside of the bearing for the steering stem, and the rear brake mount. Most of whats left on the rest of the frame is plug work. Here we get $350 for a single color such as black, and $425 for a two stage color like a candy. The breakdown is like this for another style frame like a 400ex where the sub-frame is removable. Color black Frame-$275 Sub-frame-$75 Candy color Frame-$325 Subframe-$100 Quote
