Just a quick Q for u 2 stroke gurus.

Ok 2 stroke gurus I need some more help I just got my freshly ported cylinders back and I was wondering if I should port out my pistons to match my intake? If not y, would taking material out of the piston skirt damage the structural integrity of the piston?

Every piston rocks in a cylinder. if you take material off you weaken the skirting which could cause it to break. if you do take any off dont do too much. you also mess with port timing. Ask someone like Jeff from FAST.

its been done, but Id leave it. If you take them to a machine shop they might be able to help, but doing it yourself, your going to need to match them right, ballance them right and not compromise the integrity of it. Unless your just racing and need to squeeze out all you can,. forgedaboudit.
