BenBB Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 Awesome find Twister, thank you!!! I've been lookin' for those two books forever it seems Makin' time to read them is another story heh... Quote
NYUK Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 The Alexander Bell book is the best there is out there. The hard copy is actually out of print at the moment. Alexander Bell has a couple other fantastic books out titles Four Stroke Performance Tuning and Forced Induction Performance Tuning. As a warning these books can be highly technical and possibly a bit dry to read. The foreword of all the books warns you about that though. If I were to paraphrase it I thin it would go a something like this, "If you don't understand any part of this foreword, you need not bother reading any further. Those books are a great find! The Bell books cost over $100 each new with my SAE discount. Any of you guys that live near me are welcome to come visit my book collection whenever you like. :geek: from talking to a bunch of builders over the years, the bell book is the one most have gone by. FireHead Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I'm sure those book are somewhere, i would like to have thoses 4 stroke books. Check eBay and Amazon every once in awhile. They pop up used from time to time. It seems like they have gone back in to print once in the last siz years, but then quickly want wento ut of print again. I have bought a couple copies to give away to students when I have gone back to the university where I got my BS degree to give guest lectures. If you run into anything in any of those books that doesn't make sense to you, just ask on here. The first time I read any of those books I wound up with several questions and whole sectipons that I didn't really understand. Quote
!TWISTER! Posted April 9, 2007 Author Report Posted April 9, 2007 I mean they are free somewhere like the books I found, I'll search them. Quote
