ok here is the deal my stock cylinders are .80 over stock port. so i'll need to resleeve or try to find some fresh ones on ebay. i'm looking to port my next set. so the question is to go through the time and money to find new jugs wait to have them ported. or just go with a cub motor. it wont be an all out drag bike but i also dont ride any tight technical trails. so sorry for the long post but what do ya think

guess you gotta decide what you want more. with cubs youre gonna have a lot of top end, not so much on bottom. the power comes on around 6000 rpm. is the riding youll be doing gonna allow you to be at 6000 rpm and up? like i always say, cubs are not trail friendly. i dont care what anyone says. with proper porting, stock cylinders can be made to run awesome in the woods and where ever else you may wanna ride.. cubs are pretty much one track type cylinders. youre either going fast, or your not going..

well this is how i look at it if i didnt want to go fast i would not of got a shee. this is not going to be the bike i just cruise around on. i was just thinking if i'm going to spend the money anyway why not go with a cub

becasue if your duning 90% of the time your not hitting no 6k rpms... so those tall dunes with the loose sand that you normally creep over cause your not sure if they drop off now your not going to be able to do so easily...

so whether you want to go fast or not, itsnt reason enough to get a cub... you need to make sure it suits your riding style...
