T5's Pro Design Kit K&N Blue Anozied Noss head(dont know what domes) VF3 reeds Carbs(dont know what size) +4 in timing. (what else could i squeeze out this motor for throtlle respone and mid and top end) Pro taper handlebars Ac racing pegs quicksand +2 swing arm quicksand +2+1 a arms works shocks Quote
theshee Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 You will be happy with those mods. Should run pretty well. Quote
bansheeyfz Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 i wouldnt waste my money on the swing arm though or the pegs Quote
Bansh-eman Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 i wouldnt waste my money on the swing arm though or the pegs i would have to agree... a plus 2 doesnt really do much... if your putting enough power to the groud to need a longer swinger get a +4 ... if not stay stcok... also if your looking to go faster dont spend the bills on pegs... your stockers will holdup fine for now... mpbanshee Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 PORTING!!! That is if you want to spent the money for it. At least a lightened flywheel if not. Also, I wouldn't spend the $$ on new carbs if you are not going to port. Quote

If I remeber correctly it gets you about 169psi compression. PM me and I can tell you how to upgrade your stock pegs for about $40 with a welder. Or I guess you could send em to me and I could do it for some sort of price. The pegs would look like this. Edited April 4, 2007 by Snopczynski Quote
WuddupDoc Posted April 4, 2007 Author Report Posted April 4, 2007 The pegs look nice but id land off a jump and my foot would so slip off. As far as a lighter flywheel bansheman said for trail riding thats not sensible. I want to port are shave are polish what ever but I dont know what .0 is sensible on stockers. Quote

WuddupDoc Posted April 5, 2007 Author Report Posted April 5, 2007 Huh? Snopczynski said he could make me pegs, I said landing some jump I know my foot would slip off. Whats best to do stock motor for longivity in mind though. Quote

06BaNsHeE Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Right now im in the 158-160 range and I mix 25(AV)75(PUMP) and it runs strong. No noises or anything.Im not risking straight 93 pump gas though Quote
dajogejr Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Isn't 169psi alittle high for pump gas, I thought high as you should go is 150-155? With +4 timing and 169PSI or so, I wouldn't even chance it running pump gas. Either your wallet is larger, or your luck is much better..... I'd run a mix of 50/50 race/pump with that much compression. Since you don't know dome size, you really need to know the compression. Also...you'd be wasting your money on more motor mods until you upgraded the shocks and suspension first.... I could probably smoke by a stock suspended banshee with a 400EX where jumps and turns are concerned on a tighter track... Quote
