havent gotten these shocks yet but i want to clean them up and get the springs pc'd when i get them. how do you take the springs off? i have any idea but im sure someone will know the right way

the way i used to do it was with two long hose clamps. put on on one side and one on the other with them wraped around about 3 or for coils, then tighten them down to compress the spring far enough that you can take off the bottom seat ( if you look it has a cut out that once the spring tension is off you just slide it past the shaft) then just slide the springs off, when i put them back on after being coated i used old rags to put under the clamps so the y didnt scratch the springs, hope you understand what i mean
