I also use atf fluid. I think it shifts better, and clutches last much longer.

I use Quaker State Full synthetic ATF fluid morks great and my builder said its what he has used for years.

i would go with either amsoil or royal purple. I run royal purple syncromax in all my race car tranny's, but i runamsoil supershift in my shee. Its good stuff...

Thanks everyone for their opinions on oil,i think this time i will use the castrol but look into something better when i go to the dealer,like one of those you guys suggest,thanks

I drained the trans fluid last night and filled it up this morning,the online manual said 3/4 quart to fill it but i still dont see it in the sight glass,anyone know why? its a 2004 blaster

I have 2 - 2003's...and don't worry about that sight glass. Put in 3/4 quart and forget about it...it's fine. The light has to be just right on that damn thing...and the freakin' brake lever is always in the way...just trust your measurement (but do it right.)

I find myself using Maxima Racing Oils. MTL Fluid Motorcycle Transmission Lube 85wt for 2 & 4 Cycle Transmissions. Any feedback on this one.

Wow..........I have never seen that. I will have to run out to the garage and look when I get home. I have always just used the dipstick. :shoothead:

So i can just use regular car motor oil 5/30 ???? for my trans on my banshee
