putting a new sprocket on and i was wondering if anybody puts the 3 metal tabs that stop the nuts from backing off back on or do you use threadlock .?

Definately put it back on......end of discussion

The tabs work. Why mess up a good thing?

 

 

they look like shit , my dirt bikes doesnt have them amd that sprocket never came off , im going to loctite them and see what happens.

 

 

any body else take them off ?

I wouldn't run it without them... with the vibrations and stuff that your sprocket will see its worth the extra insurance to have the little metal dude on there bent over the nut.
