375hp banshees Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 nope, this is the first that i heard of it. i'm not surprised though. jeff and the boys put a lot of time and effort into C&R, but they were restricted as far as the scheduling of the dates because of the property only being opened once a month, for the most part. i bet the "necks" are gettin' with it tonight down there with TRACY LAWRENCE being concert. I bet the track is getting ripped A new one too Quote
Handyman Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 so to install an override of any kid the cases have to be split ot is it just getting into the side cover and swapping out the clutch and basket??? Quote

r/atvshee Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 Cases do need to be split. All it is, is just taking both gear clusters and the shift cam. Its not all that hard to take it apart or put back together either  Quote
Handyman Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 not looking to tear into the cases.....I did that once with my roomies 660 raptor and that was a pain in the ass.....Is it easier to tear into a 2stoke motor than a 4 stroke motor? Quote

r/atvshee Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 Tearing into the cases is really easy. And i would think of it to be alot easier than a craptor. Quote
dajogejr Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 Tearing into the cases is really easy. And i would think of it to be alot easier than a craptor. Easier....like 10X easier to do a banshee set of cases compared to a 4 poke. Just keep an eye on all the circlips, spacers, etc... Honestly, I rode my 4 mil cub last year and loved the motor, hated trying to shift it. IMO...once you're pushing 75HP or more, you need an override and lockup, period... Quote
