Knight_Rider Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Hey got my bike running after full engine overhaul went out today to run it in, i had my mates gps straped to me to see what speed i could do. With bald tyres and a 14 tooth front sprocket 41 rear i managed 128km in top gear with major wheel spin. With a new set of tyres and a bigger front sprocket i reckon i can get round the 140-50 mark has anyone else gps there bike?? would like to compare speeds Quote
olmick Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 i clocked my buddies modded ds at 83mph on my bike, and i can creep from him on top end, so im running around 84-85mph is my best guess, thats without the woods port, everything else in my sig the same, whats your mod list? Quote

Knight_Rider Posted January 28, 2007 Author Report Posted January 28, 2007 it was done on a long flat shingle road. I know the gps is pretty acurate because we tested it with a car it is was withing 2km give or take. When we had the turbo gsxr out we gps that at 195km/h on the same spot. My mods include hot rod crank wiesco pro lights pro design intake and spacers, boyseen reeds fmf fatty pipes still running standard compression and ignition, has 35mm Keihn carbs with mild port work. got a lone start +2 axle running maxxis razor 20x11x9 tyres im gona try it with a 15t front sprocket and a new set of tyres and see what i get Quote

Snopczynski Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 we use a radar gun. Usually see about 80 mph on sand. Quote
