IROOST1 Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 I dont know if i am the only one wondering this but what the hell should i do with a crank with bad bearings. Im sure someone would take them for parts or whatever. I just dont like to throw crap like that in the garbage. But i put it on ebay for 5 buck and had no takers. So WTF should i do with it. Does someone need a boat anchor I will ship it to someone for $9(cost of shippin) Quote
theshee Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Yeah I have that same question. I have a crank that is out of true and cant be used. If someone would give me 20 bucks for It they could have it. Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Theshee, yours isn't just out of true, the inner bearings aren't too far behind the outer's. You can have a crank rebuilt, but its about $200 in some cases to have one rebuilt. They make nice lawn ornaments though. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 They make nice lawn ornaments though. stacked right next to the chevy shian without a floor board and the 73 wood panel station wagon!!! Quote

dajogejr Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Put it up on cinder blocks in the front yard...LOL.. :yelrotflmao: Outer bearings can be replaced....I'd donate it to a builder for the cost of shipping....let them use it in a charity build. Quote
