-

i cant believe you guys havent been bashed on the myspace thing yet. i posted about a MS page my wife made for me about my shee gettin ripped off and there were a few people that evidently didnt like it
-
my wife did the myspace page for me to try and help.i cant post pics or vidios on here because of my slow ass dial up. oh yeah, you dont have to be ON myspace to look at it. im not promoting that place at all. it is just where you can see pics of the bike and the vin #
-
old news but maybe theres some newer people on here since i last posted. i may get bashed for the myspace thing, but look up stolen 2005 yamaha banshee on mysp. thanks

some p.o.s stole my shee in the early hours of the 4th. any of you ohio riders out there keep your eyes and ears open for a blue 05,toomey t-6 pipes, stock front tires, razr 2 rears, renthal bars(without the bar pad on them), armadillo skid, and a flat aluminum plate clamped to the grab bar . any help will be greatly apreciated.

i had one on my z400 and liked it. if i ever bend the stocker on the shee thats what i will buy. it might even come with a locking lock nut,the z did. i had a durablue eliminator on a 300ex and it bent, the z saw way more abuse and never did bend the g force
-
yes, there are the adjustable timing plates and the +4 degree keys but i dont really know the benefits. i do remember seeing on here that the degree key was not reliable. i have been wondering the same thing since i saw the plates are only aroung 35.00
-
i had kenda klaws on my z400 and they really held up well, hooked up good and never had a flat. i just got razr 2's for the shee and dont really know if i like them yet

good luck. when i got my shee i got t-6's and started with the jets that came with the bike. 220 ran ok so i stuck the 240's in and it tottally ran like shit. stuck the 220's back in and took the snorkle off.this setup ran good but the top end was kinda short. then i found bhq and saw all these huge jet #'s and thought im pretty lucky i dint blow my shit up. now i have 280's and ireally notice how much longer it puls on top but now it runs like shit unless im wide open. iwas going to mess with the needles but my fingers froze to the carb caps  f**ck this cold weather ,ill fine tune it in the spring. sorry i didnt have an actual input to help you i was bored

when the day comes im going to have mine crhomed and use it as a decoration. im sure my wife will love it just as much as my polished kdx piston
-
if you already have it tore down that far just do a rebuild. from what ive seen on here and heard from friends that own shees 3-4 yrs is about average before a rebuild is needed on a stocker. if your seeing no hone marks on the front or back of the cyls thats probly where the compression is leaking off. make sure the crank is still tight too before slapping on a new top end. good luck

the powerline race is about an hour from you. the sweet thing about it is you can go ride the property on holiday weekends to get familiar with the place.its another story on race day though, they change the course and add new shit every year.ive only went as a spectator but ive always wanted to try it.wish i did it when i had the z400 though cause i dont really want to thrash the shee that hard.not that it woulnt take iti just like it to much.i did a hare scramble on my kdx(which i thought everything was tight on) and the slightly worn partts were toast after the race.damn it was fun though
-
never rode one with that set up but im sure you will be happy with the performance and sound compared to the stockers
-
if your looking for mx theres fly mx park in fly,oh.its on rt7 .as far as iknow powerline is only open a few times a year during holiday weekends and for a couple of poker runs
-
the bike was properly warmed.i rode it for 10-15 min cause i couldnt believe how much more pull it had on top  .i need to do another run where its at anyway cuz i ran out of room, got to fifth with just a few secs at wot and i had to shut it down.should i mess with the needles now or wait till i get an accurate reading offf of my plugs for the mains??? also yes i ran it 10-15min,putthe plugs pictured in,did my short wot run, killed it and put my original plugs back in
-
be carefull with that oven cleaner around any polished or anodized parts!!!!!!!!!!!back in the day i thought it would be a good idea to use it to clean my yz100 and it stripped the gold anodizing off of the wheels :verymad:

sorry about the let down on the pics. i couldnt get my file size down small enough. anyway, there was actually a diff between the two.the r plug looks beautiful but the non res. plug has a swirly look to it almost clear to the tip of the insl. i checked the windows on the carbs after i got it back together and they looked good(in sync).once i get a chance ill do a lookover of the bike and try it again with two identical plugs.thanx for any advice
-
the only new plugs i could find at home were a br8es,left, and a b8es,right.i will do another chop with identical plugs next time. im running a stock motor, toomey t-6,280 mains, airbox lid is ON with the snorkle removed.i was running 220 mains but was really lacking top end pull. now with the 280's it pulls much stronger on top but from about 1/8 to 3/4 throttle its running like crap.a needle adj. should correct this right?oh yea im also running 93 oct at32:1 with blendzall(castor based), it was about 45 deg. out at around a 700 ft. elevation
-
i will go with the 32:1 but i was running the 220's and judging from my searches it sounds way too lean.i am draining the old gas out tommorow, starting with the 280's and doing a plug chop.i cant believe its still runnng cuz i was running it so lean.....so much for my reliability concerns
-
kill phil, fuck houston and kiss nugent if i had to. i did see him in a mag with a she so he must be cool
-
:: i bought my she feb. o6 and put t6's on it and i was too exited tojet so i took it for a spin. it ran great but no smoke out the exhaust so i stuck 240's in it.ran ok but no wot.put 220's in and took off the snorkle and it kicked ass but i still wasnt gettin good pull on the top end.i checked out the plugs a couple of times and thought they looked good(not a plug chop) .and then i found bhq..........i have not rode it since i have been chekin this site out, partly due to work and the cold weather.i am going to run with the lid on,no snork,500 to 1500 el.,blendzall and 93 pump at the man. rec. mix of 24:1 and start at 280's.ive done the searches but does this sound good for a starting point.and just in case , i didnt get the jet kit with the pipes cuz i didnt want to turn my air box into swiss cheese, i ride in way to much mud and water for that. thanks for any advice p.s. sorry for that 1st post thing . too many of these
