kevman_101 Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Hello. Sorry to post this, but I have 2 banshees right now. Both are not in working order and it's winter. I got my cylinders bored 20 mils, shaved head, K&N with no air box cover and FMF reeds and cages. No porting done, yet. Now I used to ride a Banshee with PC's like 4 years ago and sold it, then bought one with SST's. I just bought one for parts that have PC's and I remember liking them very much but can't tell which one's were better. I found a website a long time ago that had dyno sheets of a bunch of pipes but lost it and don't know where to find it. If I remember correctly, the PC's have more power. Anyways, which one's give out the most HP in the top-end? Thanks. Quote
letsgetthisdone Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 If read that correctly you said one is for parts and the other is for riding. If so I would sell both sets of pipes and get T5's. If you are going have both of them in riding condition put the PC's on the one you are going to riding. I think the PC's are better, but someone will correct me if i'm wrong on this. Quote
Handyman Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 the performance of the FMF's, Pro Circuit's, and T5's and any pipe in that catergory are so close that it all comes down to personal preference, I think. I know difference pipes work better with different mods I run PC's on my '99 and love the the perf. and sound they produce. Haven't ran FMF's or T5's so I can't say anything good or bad about them. yamaha04 Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 PC'S are almost the exact same shape as T5's the fmf are alittle different with that said i would stick with the pc's but the chrome on the T5's is so much better Quote
superdave Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 I have used TR-6, T-5 and PC's presently on my ride...They all run good. It is all about what you like and what you ride. TR-6's seemed to be the smoothest and my T-5 and PC's seem almost the same as far as power and hit harder. I have rode a FMF SST banshee and it also ran hard...total preference. dave Quote
bigdaddy69 Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 I currently run pc's....have nothing bad to say about them at all. This is my first shee but I bought them used from a buddy put them on and jetted correctly. 50% of the riding I do is tight trails and I love them. I would stick with the pc's if it were me, but then again what do I know??? Pipes do add to performance, but alot of it is prefernce and riding style. Quote
kevman_101 Posted January 20, 2007 Author Report Posted January 20, 2007 Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'm gona switch back to the PC's. Maybe one day I'm gona sell them and get a set of T5's but not yet. Man, cant wait till summer to try it out with a fresh top end. Thanks again. Quote

mccustomize Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 I had fmf sst's on my stock banshee and they ripped! I loved them a hard mid range hit that seemed to pull until you ran out of room, definitly a good set of pipes Quote
