Motoman
Hi guys, I just bought a carb kit. I noticed the stock needles have 6 notches in them but the new ones have only five. Now for example if my clip is on the 4th notch on the stock needle, what notch should it be on for the new one?.
gregbowler
The needle with 6 notches is aftermarket. The one with five is the stocker.

banshee dave
on the five slot needle, normally the clip is in the third slot down from the top. on the six slot needle it would be in the third of fourth. it all really depends on how well the bike performs in mid thottle
