twojztt Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 one pipe is 204 the other is 210 degrees,my cool head is 142 degrees this is with stage 5 porting,vitos exhaust,v-force reeds,filter,34mm pjs,wisesco,pistons,155main jet 50,pilot,cek needles on third clip,is this alright. Quote

jbooker82 Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Checking those parts with a Infred Temp gun isnt going to accurately tell you how hot the engine is running. If you want to know how hot your engine is running then you need to install a water temperature gauge. Quote

sheefreak Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 You need egt probes to monitor the exhaust temp. Your temps would be around 1000 deg. right outside the exhaust port. Quote
