flywheel lightening........in canada?

hey guys

 

i know most of ya arent from canada, but was wondering if anyone knows of anybody that lightens flywheels.....i might consider sending it to the states but since i dont have an extra just in case ....im kinda scared to send it too far....anyway if anyone could tell me where the best place is

I`m from New Brunswick in Canada and I sent mine to Boonman in the states. Did not have any problems, turnaround was super fast! The only thing I did was put some extra insurance when I sent mine away. Also if you look at all the comments from Boonman`s work, you will want him to do it!

I'm lightened mine from myself any good machine shop can make em in canada...I remove 3/16'' on diameter and a little bit on the face

I sent mine to Boonman - had no problems and he had it done and sent back within a day

Boonman did my old flywheel as well...great guy.

However...I will never ship anything out of country, too many hoops to jump through and paper work. I'd PM boonman, but if not...call Dave Moore Racing.

Where is Dave Moore at?? USA?? Because its look like the do-it-all-pay-shipping-once shop and its good to know. Do you have any comments on is work, porting and everythings??

Dave Moore is the man...I highly doubt you'd find one person to knock him, his work, his ethics or what he's done for this sport. That guy does it all....

however, you specifically asked for flywheel lightening. I don't believe Jeff does that.

That's probably about one of the very few things he doesn't do...and, he truly is a one stop shop as well.

I originally sent mine to Boony, and my motor was built by Jeff. They are both great guys to work with. Boonman is on the east coast somewhere and Jeff is in Kansas............. :beer:

i got a hold of boonman, great guy. 70 bucks shipped and returned! gonna save up a couple bucks on the side and send um when i can
