Help! Cleaned air filter, now won't run right...
banshee freak replied to knight ryda's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
A good way to oil your stock filter is to pour some filter oil in a baggy and squeeze your filter in there. that way your filter will suck the oil in and your sure to have the same amount of oil everywhere...just something I used to do. -

RING GAP BIG! SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!
banshee freak replied to banshee freak's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
ok guys, well I went back to that local shop and I had messed up on the piston gap, ive only got .03-.04 so thats good but what ended up happening is that the wsm piston rings didnt match the pistons, the gap was0.25 which is retarded, so I called up WSM adn they are sending me some 0.5 rings for free, plus they are paying shipping to canada!! awsome service...anyway..that brings me to this question ..do u guys think that the 0.5 rings will fit tight on the 0.25 pistons?? my local shop seems to think so..... thanks FOR ALL replies guys!! -
hey guys, well I bought a set of port and polish jugs off a guy on ebay, then I bought a 0.25 piston and ring set so I brought the cylinders to get bored over. When I picked them up everything looked fine,so I just brought them home. I just found out about that ring gap so I measured them and its about 0.25!!!isnt it suppose to be 0.12?? anyway so that kind pisses me off but then I also checked the piston clearance on the sides and I hear its suppose to be 0.04 and I have 0.10 if anyone knows what would fix this, im thinking bigger pistons.....the pistons and rings are WSM. someone please help!!

hey guys, just bought a set of fmf rev pipes, they sound awsome but the only thing is that they hit against (what I call) petcock for the fuel shut off. I can only put on reserve now. And even when i put it on reserve..there is alot of pressure on it and fuel seeps out from the little handle. So does anyone know of any aftermarket fix for this??? thanks guys
-
hey how much for the t-6's?? and do u ship to canada?
-
first off you cant just bend it back no matter what anyone says, i cant tell from the pic how bad it is but what i would do( im a welder/fabricator), is cut the bracket at the weld, grind it off and measure your otherside so that you can reposition it back into place...this is not a big job...any fabrication shop can do this job.....DONT waste your money and buy another frame
-
I sent you a pic of my switch set up, if you like it i bought mine at an automotive shop and i bought the little rubber cover off of ebay, they are 3 bucks or something. Oh and did u try those lights out yet???
-
might need more air??? hahaha
-
yup thats wut it is, just dont connect the green...so connect the blue and the yellow on one side of the switch and the yellow and red on the other...i just finished cleaning mine up.
