BlueBanshee05 Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 I know this is a banshee forum and i apologize but i couldnt find this info anywhere, does anyone on here know the torque specs of a yamaha blaster head and cylinder nuts? any info woulod be appreciated, like i stated above i have searched eveywhere and i just cant find them. baddsheee Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 To tighten down the cylinder you're gonna need a wrench adapter for the torque wrench in order to get in there. Motion Pro sells it. It is impossible to get a normal torque wrench and socket in there. Then because it adds length you have to recalculate the ft lbs. Here is the Wrench adapter. I just did a search on google, but I ordered mine directly from MotionPro. Quote

Then because it adds length you have to recalculate the ft lbs. best thing to do would be to go get yourself a YAMAHA service manual..... all the correct torque specs are there ..... i personally dont like the clymers manual,the torque specs are different then the yamaha.
