Shee-Male Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 I think your best bet is to drop it off at a garage and have them press it off, most garages have a large press for wheel & axle bearings. Good luck Quote
LiftdT4R Posted November 11, 2006 Author Report Posted November 11, 2006 In your case I would say you need to rig up some kind of press or Hydrolic (sp?) setup... If it's siezed on there that good, you will not get the job done using basic hand tools... Do you have a good size vice?? I've always had luck that way... You ain't lyin'!!! I got a spare carrier, axle, and hubs off my 01, the one I took off is just goin' in the junk pile. Quote

Bandit Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 When all else fails...GET A BIG F**KING HAMMER! Please let us know the outcome Quote
LiftdT4R Posted November 11, 2006 Author Report Posted November 11, 2006 LOL TOLD YA THIS DOGS BEEN ROUND THE OLD BLOCK Yeah, you were correct. I just ditched it, it's behind my shed for now. My buddy has a service station in norethern Jersey, so I might bring it up there. The sprocket hub is kinda messed up from beating on it with the hammer, and I'm pretty sure the bearings are shot. But it will be junk for now. Quote
