  1. We have a club in ohio called Buckeye Riders And we only have 2 guys that ride Banshee's. So if any of you that ride looking for some more people to ride with come check us out.
  2. I think i will get that stocker...I have a new Grizzly and dont ride the banshee much anymore.But its nice to say i have one and can ride it when i want to. And they are the coolest quads ever!
  3. Whats a new swing arm going to cost me?
  4. Anyone have a issue of the rear axle is cocked? It does not matter how tight i get the bolt, you run it down the road it comes back cocked. Looking from the rear, the right side(brake side) will move back off the tensioner about 1/4 of inch. Could the carrier bolts have to much play in them?

  6. Anyone know the top speed of a bone stock banshee on the street?
  7. If a rod starts to knock will i have to change the crank or have it ground? And whats the average labor rate on having the rod bearing done? Thanks
  8. It starts and runs fine, but it started smoking out out the right pipe more then the left. I have put on a trinity 2 into 1 carb set up on. After jetting and riding it for a bit it started smoking more on right. I have FMF fatties and K&N filer no snorkle and the single carb. Thats the only mods. Please help im open to any suggestions. Thanks

  10. I have a 97 banshee, never raced and very well taken care of. Always kept up on the maintence and i keep fresh rings in it. It has fmf fattys and trinity 35mm 2in1 carb setup with the airbox adaptor. I also have the stock carbs. Newer tires and wheels T9's and have a extra set of Razors front tires.And Original plastics and runs strong. I just have too many quads and need to clean out the garage. I ride the banshee the least so im thinking of letting it go. But on the other hand if it isnt worth shit then im keeping cause it dont eat anything setting in the garage.

  13. I twisted steel wool in the dome and what appeared to be cracks was gone. But it does look like i have very small pits in it tho. What causes the pits? I have seen pics where domes have pit really bad.
  14. that lip you see it machined so the piston wont hit.
  15. the head or piston dont have any marks of them hitting each other.I dont know if its the casting imperfections with carbon in the cracks to make it visable, or if it the aluminum flaking. But you can feel it. It feel rough when running finger across it.
  16. nothing is bent or broke but i found the dome looks like its flaking :shrug:
  17. will it hurt anything if i run 110 leaded gas in my shee? I have stock cylinders and head, fmf fattys and 2 in 1 carb with k&n.

  20. i guess we will find out if it holds together on saturday, He has a race. I just wonder if it overheated?
  21. the main is a #158 dont know the pilot. I cant get it out. the only mods are FMF fattys and K&n filter no snorkle and vent holes in lid.It falls out at the top of powerband right before you shift gears.
  22. i have one of them temp guages you point an shoot....right before it shut down it read 380 degrees...i was shooting the cylinder.
