charles Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 im not sure what size should be better a 35mm or 38mm ihave ported cylinder, cool head, v-force 3, t-5, +4 timing plate. I realy like the 2 into 1 seeting and i want to stick with that!!!! but can you please help me on the size ???? thank you your help is appreciated. Quote
differentstrokes Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 I would think a 35mm would do the trick, I think a 38mm is for more big bores and drag. I've got 35mm and it's great. Quote
Flip73 Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 I second that, I have pretty much the same set up you have. Not sure what kind of porting (unless I missed it) - I just have a trail port and the 35 works great. Quote
djackbanshee Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 I had a pj 34 and it worked fine i think a 35 would be the best Quote
dajogejr Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 I'm gonna "co-sign" and agree with those posted above.... Unless you have a drag port on your shee, then I'd go 38. (Actually I'd go with a pair of 39's with a drag port, but....that's just me.) I don't think you can go wrong. Just keep in mind, with one carb feeing two cylinders, you traditionally have to go a LOT bigger on the main than you would in a twin setup. Say around 185 to 190ish.... Quote
charles Posted October 24, 2006 Author Report Posted October 24, 2006 thank's alll off you. Im going to get 35mm for sure now!!! Quote
