dajogejr Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Tigers all the way....we disposed of the best hitting lineup in baseball in 4 games. Whipped the A's 4 games straight. With some rest for Zumaya to heal and the rest of them...look out. They might be a little rusty the first few innings...but, it's hard to argue with our pitching. Kenny Rogers is on fire, and Bonderman is playing good ball as well!! Quote
06BansheeSE Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Even though i am from New York and i am a met fan i have to say that i think the tigers will win it all, they are playing great ball. Quote
STLBILL Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Well, as of a few minutes ago it looks like the Mets might want it a little after all... :: Quote

KlotzBanshee Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Deeee - troit! We are long over due, I was just a kid the last time we won. Now if we could just get the Lions going... Quote
kubiac3 Posted October 16, 2006 Author Report Posted October 16, 2006 HA Lions. Man thats a joke. We went from hockey town, to DETROIT BASKETBALL, to the Tigers...Im guessing the lions are up next so hang in there. I love that a team making league minimum beat a team with a payroll of 200 million(Yankees). Just makes me smile. Quote
STLBILL Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Take that New York... Loved the looks on all those fan's faces in Shea...   Detroit here we come... no way in Hell they can get two runs this late... GO CARDS! (I guess the new Stadium helped after all?) Quote

STLBILL Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 (edited) It's all good. I'll take #2 for all the tax money they spent on the new stadium and ballpark village, etc.,. However, I'm still hoping for #1... I kind of feel bad for those Mets fan though. EDIT: And you have to admit this was one hell of a series. In the end they all are entertainers and both teams in the NLCS put on a heck of a good show down to the final pitch! Edited October 20, 2006 by STLBILL Quote
G-MC Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Go Cards! Let me wipe the beer off my keyboard and say once again...GO CARDS! After watching game seven, I think I need a handful of Valium. Quote
