How do the Trinity's compare to the T6 pipe for a stock banshee? I have ridden the T6's and Fattys and like the T6 sound and power much better. How does the powerband and overall power increase compare from the Trinity to T6?

I really like the stainless steel idea that Trinity uses, but ultimately I am concerned performance.

BTW.... The motor won't be ported in the future so I am not worried about a pipe to accomodate porting.

THanks,

Brendon

I would give the knod to the T6's on a stock motor since that is exactly what they were designed for. The Trinity's were designed for modded and ported motors. The Toomeys are a well made pipe but they still won't compare to Trinity's quality, even if the Toomey's were stainless.

What kind of powerband do the Trinity's give? The T6 seem to have a good low and mid hit, they are very peaky.

What are the trinity's like to ride?

Ive heard T6 sucked and anything else was better is that true ? And why ?

Absolutely false. They work fantastic on bone stock motors, or those with just a little bit of porting (mostly clean up porting, which...any motor can benefit from)..

You probably heard that from someone that had a built motor, drag motor, etc. For those cases, yes...they're not a very good choice.

I was at the dunes early this year, and a guy had a timing plate, cut head and T6 pipes (and a K&N) with the airbox. Pipes looked good, sounded good...and the bike ran very, very well for a stock motor.

Trinity's going to have a little less low end but make more power up top. Mid range will probably be pretty close between the two.

I can't really comment on the Trinity pipes, but I ran T-6's before my current pipes and I was very impressed. I think Toomey's fit and finish/ overall quality is great on the T-6's, I don't know how Trinity's can really be much better. I'd go with the T-6's in your case, plus Toomey also has great customer service everytime I've ordered something else or talked to the tech.

i have trinity IV's on my bike and it RIPS... i mean, when i put them on along with a k&n in the box, i had very little bottom end.. but i put a noss head w 20cc domes, +4timing, dropped a tooth in the front and this thing is awesome in the trails... and the good thing is, no matter how stained they get, just steelwool them clean... i got a steal on ebay because they were brown... now they shine like no other..

After going back and forth between pipes for a week now I decided to go with the Trinity's. The reason for my decision is because I have ridden the T6's before and really, really liked the look, sound, and performance of the pipe, BUT it seemed to sign off quicker than I liked and won't work well in the future with porting etc.

From what I have researched the trinity's sound sweet, and have a great fit and finish. The stainless steel pipes to me is a huge deal since I am anal about my bike and hate when the chrome gets pitted and rusted etc.

I will post up my experiences with the pipes when install them. I paid $629.00 straight from trinity which included pilots, mains, and all hardware.

Hopefully I won't regret not getting the Toomey's....... however from what I have read the trinitys make great power and have a unique sound.

I'd have to agree on my ported stock cylinders the low end with trinitys pipes it had light switch power band. No matter what you did with the pilot or needle dia & your L1 it had that slite bog. Between your exhaust port height & pipe design I was locked in. Rpm had to be around 2800 rpm before the power hit hard. Now with a power valve motor totaly differant set of pipes. It's like being shot out of a cannon. It's like a 4 stroke power band. I like these pipes

I am also installing a Noss head 18cc dome, delta V3's, and a pro-flow/k+n intake so I am hoping the added compression and reeds will beef up the low end power a bit.

t6's are one of the if not THE best pipe out there....they just dont respond as well to porting as other pipes do. nuff said..steer clear from trinity anything there customer service sucks not to mention most of there products

I can't see how the pipes will "suck"?? I mean they are stainless and have been known to fit well.

The nice part is I will install them and ride them and compare them to my brothers banshee which is modded the exact same way except for t6's and see the difference, if I don't like them within 30 days I can send them back to trinity and get a refund.

you will love those pipes.... along with head and reeds, get an adjustable timing plate... up the timing and you'll be set... my buddy use to race banshees and had the same setup, minus timing plate and he had bigger domes in the head... he said his would bog then snap suddenly... standard banshee... he said mine acted like a 4stroke... it was smooth and was hard to keep the front end down just slamming throught the gears.... and it never stops pulling... you'll love that setup.. i promise.
