Like the title says, I am looking into buying a set of 20-10-10 (10 paddle) haluers for the general all around dune performance for my bike. I do a alot of duning as well as a fair amount of dragging. Would i really gain that much more straight line performance with the 21-12-8's over the 20's. I already know the 21's wont turn as well, i am just wondering how much of a difference it would make dragging wise. What do you guys think? This is more or less a good combo bike between dragging and duning. My Mods are in my sig

Thanks in advance

I've got 21-10-8 10 row with a 72 inch rollout for my cub. They work pretty damn good with my 6 over swinger....

You want a taller rollout, skinnier tire for that bike....

I just bought a set of 21x12x8 haulers! I got an 8 paddle. Do you think there is a huge difference between an 8 and a 10 paddle? I hope I like them!

Tires are a hard choice. Haulers are very particular on the swinger length, the power put out at the RPM you launch at and gearing. My default for the sand dune hill shooter/drag racer

22x12 paddle on a 10 inch swinger

22x10 paddle on a 8 inch swinger

22x8 paddle on a 6 inch swinger

So what Kind of paddels should I get with my set up with a stock swing arm keep in mind I want to get a +2 down the road and I am having inframe drag pipes and 33 34 or 35 mm carbs put on (my crank seal went out blew the clutch up) it as well. what typ of hauler should I get? Cause I do not have a clue.

I am running 22x11x8 8 paddle extremes with a stock swinger and love them but it is a handful with the stock swinger. I am in the process of building a 10mil cub so didnt see the point of throwing a +6 swinger on for the time being.I had 20x10 haulers before and hated them compared to theese.

Here is my .02 the 20x10x10 10 paddles are a waste of money if you are doing any sort of drag racing. The side wall is to stiff and has no give it would be like running a 24 inch rim on a top fuel its not going to do what you need it to. You want the side wall to give when you launch it provides the widest possible foot print (most contact area of the tire). the 20x10x10 10 paddles also have another down fall the paddles are to close to each other and dont clean themself out as good or as fast. You dont want sand still in the paddle when its comming back around for the next bite. That is jmo.............. :whistling:

Also you will be shooting yourself in the foot with a smaller diamater tire at the top of the hill, the 20's wont have the topend speed of a 21 or 22. As far as turning i have no issues with my 22's as long as you have the power the bitch will turn... It looks like you may have more motor than me and if mine turns fine then you should be cool.

what a bout a 22 on a 9 inch or 10 inch rim instead of the 8 how much hole shot will you loose and how much better is the turning with the taller rim.

also what with rim are you using that makes a huge differance in the height as well.

I am looking into haulers for an all around set up and drag building a cub,

i currently have 22 sand stars up from 20 what a huge differance.

I am running a 10 by 10 rim but i set my friends bike up with 9 and they work even better.

With the bigger rims you also gain weight and it will slow you down. I have seen many times guys with the same motor same power the guy with the super lite tire will win every time some say the sl with 8x8 rims is worth 2 bikes Im not sure if thats true but I see it that way. So the larger the rim the more spin imo.
