WTT 421 Cub Top End (complete) for 4 mil Dune Set-up Complete
jeepman128 replied to jeepman128's topic in Swap and Trade
Burns fuel at a high rate, low end is well... Cub like. Gobs of power up top... but down low its like a light switch. i had it tuned so the jetting is right, its just very much like a "light switch" I duned it for 4 years, but just am looking to downsize a bit my carbs are 35mm air strykers -
Like many, i can't make up my mind on what i want. So at this point, i am looking to make my bike a 100% dune bike again. These cylnders are 68mm (Fresh PIstons... only about 10 hours on them) i have not taken apart as of yet (bike is in the for sale section) and running perfectly. If you have something available, please post or PM me Thanks! I'd even go as far as trading my 35mm air strykers for 28's, 10" k&N pods with outerwears, etc... Let me know what you have.

Thanks guys! Appreciate the kind words

Sadly this bike never gets ridden. I am sure this bike is worth more if it was parted out but quite frankly I don't have the time to do it. . I used this bike primarily in the dunes with the occasional trail ride. What are these worth these days? Is this bike really not worth the asking price? Is the market that dead for Banshee's? -

Can somebody give me a recommendation of a shop to have my cub tuned in the Phoenix area? I have never been able to get mine to run right and looking to have a professional look it over. Thanks in advance!

He is still in business! I just went dunning with him last weekend! Still a stand up great guy! Just call him, I know he was running into problems with his website provider

Well it it doesn't happen "right" when it warms up, but essentially it runs perfect, idles perfect right when i start it up and will run good till I hit the power band for the first time, it will ride the power band good until i choose to get off of it, ( so much that when i really want to climb a hill, i have gone as far as waiting till the bike cooled down to make a shot at it because i knew the bike would atleast give me one shot at it)... but trying to get back into the band is laughable it runs so bad. but after i keep playing with it for a while (burping the throttle and such) it will come back. Yeah, its has me purplexed, the reeds are next to check, I replced the spark plug boots, but that didn't work. The stator, coil and CDI have all been replaced this past year, but thats not to say they are good, If the reeds check out ok, i will head in that direction, but it feels so much like fuel flow that i wonder what else it could be If anyone else has any ideas, please feel free to chime in, Thanks again to everyone for helping out

OK, so the new problem goes. The bike has been running great for a while, no change in elevation, same jetting as always. But I ran into a problem last time I was out. (Please see my sig for mods). I burned a hole in one of my air filters( rubbing on my exhaust) and it sucked down part of my heat wrap that I had installed. Well it didn

I have the exact same problem, my compression is the exact same, except I am there w/21cc domes. But mine come loose all the time as well, one side or the other, it is guarnteed to happen, At least once a day. My squish was at .38 on both sides. I have just learned to live with the problem, and just tighten them before every ride

Yeah, mine was running like crap all weekend, I tried and tried to get it to run, but it just pissed me off, i tried so many different things this weekend to get that darn thing moving along under its own power but it fought me the whole way, I am headed over to make a post about it in the repair forum, but my apologies about not meeting up, my carbs were tore apart about that time
-
Alright, that sounds good to me! See ya there!
-
Where are we meeting at 3:00? I will be riding a banshee that pretty much looks like yours R/atv... infact it's kind of scary how much they are alike  but tell me where and I say lets go for it!
-
What time and what day?
-
So are we going to get together and meet at $100 hill possibly or whats the story for a mini HQ ride? Time/Date?? I am down for whatever and will be camped next to CJ hill.
-
I will be there too  What paddles do you run up there?
-
I need a set of stock wheels or cheap aftermarket ones that someone has laying around Thanks Kolby
-
I have some straight paddle 20/10/10 sand sharks. They have never been mounted, I'll let them go for 50 bucks plus the ride over there. Let me know if you want some pics
-
Yeah... we are headed out tonight to Gordons... although it seems like everybody and their brother who has a 421 cub is headed over to Glamis :: I want to join the convoy!
-
Hey Hey Hey.. dont talk bad about the cub, you know it had one carb and no compression!
