I couldnt find much on the aerospeed... so anyone.

- I will be doing just about everything...not a whole lot of draging and alot of turning.

-I also got ITP sandstars up front...so any comments about those will be nice(not too late to change to a different front tire)so any suggestions on the front too

-the tires will be bolted onto my stock rims

-any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Im not sure I would pic either. The sandstar fronts are good tires I would go with sandstar rears as well for what it sounds like you want to do. I prefer striaght blades like haulers.

How do the haulers do, I hear nothing but good things about them, im going to be mostly general hill riding in New Mexico its more of a "dirt" than a sand...How do they turn? I would guess they wouldnt do well besides straight line draging...

also...how many paddles? with my stock rims my choices are 7or8 paddles...I have fmf fattys, boost bottle, knn intake, jetted....

-I JUST WANT THE BEST TIRES FOR MY BIKE FOR MY TYPE OF RIDING

If there is any rock or stuff like that you may not want to run haulers but if it is dirty sand you should be fine. 8 paddle haulers should work good for your set up. They are a little harder to turn with than v paddles but much better for hills and acceleration. If you learn how to shift your weight and get used to them you can turn them just as well its just a little more work. Maybe someone from new mexico will chime in with what tire has worked well for them in that type of terrian

geckos pretty much suck, but they will get you by. Much better than a knobby in the sand, but don't plan on winning any drag races with them in dry sand. I actually like them in wet sand, though.

-what would you recomend?I just want some good tires for my senerio.

-dont want to be stuck with a crappy set of tires...

I've had the Gecko's they are not good, but the ITP's up front are a great tire. If you want a good tire that will hold up, I'd go with the ITP's for the rears too. STU Sand Skates are great, but a bit pricey. Haulers are awesome too, but I'm not too sure that you are look for that type of tire. Just my .02

Have fun with it!

I've used both before, I used the Gecko's on a friends blaster once and those just arent worth the rubber they're made with. I happen to have the AMS Aerospeeds that I use to run on my Banshee before I switched to Hauler Extremes. The AMS's were alright but a bit heavy for my taste which is why I switched to extremes. If you do however happen to ride in gravel type stuff I wouldnt get the Skat Traks it just to rough on them but the AMS paddles would be more ideal for them.

If you're interested I'll unload the AMS ones I got, they are 20x11x8 on douglas blue label rims.

i see your from abq...the only place that i know of that somewhat sandy and gravel is montessa park. if thats what your talking about.....sand stars all around will do fine..maybe even sand sharks in the back

I raced a guy who had the aerospeed tires and got beat, bikes were about the same mods and if anything my bike should have had a few hp on his. my buddy watched the race and said it looked like he was hooking up alot better right out the line. I was running the GBC sand devils(the ones with 8 straight paddles)... Alot of people like the expensive skat trak haulers for dragging but unless skat-traks paddles have less flex I still cant see them accellerating faster than the reinforced aerospeeds..IMO

Other then dragging someone with better hook-up tires the GBC work awesome. Alot cheaper than some and they definitily work nice. Pulling the front endup is easy as hell and i found with enough throttle you can still slide the back end pretty good without getting into a one wheel situation.

So I ended up buying the aerospeed and they finally came in and I got to try em out. They definatly hooked up nice in the sand compared to my holeshots and aparently they held up very well in ruff terrain so I would recomend them...working on that wheelie:thumbsup:
