blak banshee Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 I personally would rather wear a back pack filled with premix then put that ugly pos on my bike. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted October 19, 2006 Author Report Posted October 19, 2006 Scroll down the link to member Polish who posted pix on his blue banshee. The IMS blu tank looks perfect with blu body and don't think it looks ugly. Do you really carry premix in a pack for long rides?? http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...mp;#entry579032 Quote

I just go back to my truck to refuel. The blue tank looks nice in that pic. My problem is my plastic is metallic black. I doubt they do that with those tanks, or do they? this winter I plan to ride till the sun comes up when it snows. heres a fibreglas banshee tank. looks to hold about 6 gallons. http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-BANSHEE-FLAT-T...1QQcmdZViewItem dont think theyre talking about the same banshee we ride, but its black so maybe I'llput it on mine  Edited October 19, 2006 by blak banshee Quote
black sunshine Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Armadillo makes an out n' back rack that holds a special 1 gal gas can, plus a six pack cooler that would probably hold a 2 gal can. I dont have one, but theyre out there... That way you can bolt it in place of your rear grab bar when you go on a longer ride and swap it back out when you dont need it, not that it looks bad or anything. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted October 19, 2006 Author Report Posted October 19, 2006 I don't think they come in mettalic, but yes in your case it would take away from the good looks on your tank shrouds. Quote
06BansheeSE Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 If i was going to go with any of those it would have to be the 4.0 one, it's not that much different than the stock one as far as looks go. I don't like the way the bigger ones look. Quote

ClimbAnyHill Posted October 23, 2006 Author Report Posted October 23, 2006 So I was in Riverside area today and decided to drop thru Chapparral Motorsports, out of all things. They didn't have the IMS 4 Gal in Black. Pissed me off... They go for $202. IMS site has them for $225. I couldn't find one on ebay so where can I find one? Rockymountainatv is also out & wish they weren't, they would ship it free if available. Quote
