I'd say get a good port job to start Quote
race-a-holic Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 If you have a good port job and can get traction, you should smoke him. Quote
firefighterjosh Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 I just have T6 pipes, Adjustible timing plate, and delta v- forece reed and vitos pistons and I haven't been beat by a 450 yet. You should be close to wasting him now Quote
streetbanshee Posted September 20, 2006 Author Report Posted September 20, 2006 before with my .20 overbore id take him through all my gears right now my bikes getting a new top end with a .60 overbore so i wasnt sure i could take him we only race asphalt over here though Quote
walk72 Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Do you know what cams he is getting, and is he smart enough to rejet. If he is id watch out, but sence your on pavement you mite catch him after a while. Quote
streetbanshee Posted September 20, 2006 Author Report Posted September 20, 2006 hes getting those hot cams and no he doesnt know he has to re jet Quote
walk72 Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 he will still gain with those cams, not as much as he could. And they are a good high end cam for the YFZ. But still being on pavement he mite take you at first but you should catch up in the end. So hopefully this is a long race. Just my 2 cents Quote

walk72 Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 yeah don't try and see who can keep there bike wide open the longest, you will Loose. But yeah if your pinned in six gear flying down the road don't do it for too long. You can for a little while but not miles on end Quote
firefighterjosh Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 I ussually would only hold my shee wide open for about 5 - 8 secs then let off Quote

You can for a little while but not miles on end a properly jetted banshee should have no problem bein run wide open for long distances. as long as youre getting the proper lubrication in the cylinders you should have no issues...
