hellride96 Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 just like the description says, just wondering if any of you guys know exactly how power valves work. and also for those who run p.v's, have you guys had problems with the bolt backing out of the valve and them just sitting in the cylinder not working properly. (lack of top end) thanks. travis Quote

dawarriorman Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 If Im not mistaken, the Cheetahs use exhaust pressure to determine how high the vavle is. Higher rpm = higher exhaust pressure, so the valve is raised. Quote

I also have Cheetah power valves and I have also had the bolt come out that holds the slide to the plunger. Don't know if it's a common problem but I just put mine back together with some loc-tite on the bolt. I haven't run it much since so I don't know if that will definately solve the problem but I assume it will. Quote
