Soupbox660 Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 K, got a 686 Raptor, 11.1, stage 2 cam, FMF full exhaust, GYT-R jets and needles, K&N. When I'm just riding around, jumping, drag racing, trail riding, it runs great. Tons of power all of the way through clear to the top. Its jetted perfect. But, when I do a wheelie or climb a steep hill it cuts out like crazy likes it draining the float bowls, but I know thats not it, cause I can drag it with no problem. I would say it starts at about a 45 degree angle. What do you guys think? Quote
jbooker82 Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 It sounds like a float problem. Put a hose on the little nipple on the bottom of the carb bowl. Hold the clear hose up by the split where the carb bowl and carb body meet. Opean the little drain screw on the bottom of the carb bowl, letting fuel into the hose. Look to see where the fuel rises to. You want it about 2 mm above the the line where the carb bowl and carb body meet. Quote
