i work @ a car dealer and they offer lo jack for cars,as i was speakin to one of there reps he told me they now have lojack for motorcycles...you think they should do the same for ATVs...

anyone know if they do?

You can use the motorcycle kits on quads but on a banshee(or anything else without a battery) you would need to install a battery to run it.

Yes, because once they activate the transponder the Lo-Jack needs power to send out the signal........ :beer:

im not enbtirely sure how the lojack works but on something as simple as a motorcycle, why cant one break off a few fenders/panels and rip off the wires to the transponder? its not as if the transponder is going to be very difficult to find on a motorcycle or quad.

Yeah, but how would the thief even know it was there? All they would see is the vehicles electrical system. Unless it says Lo-Jack in big orange letters, they could be staring right at it, and never imagine what it is.

i suppose any crafty thief would have pictures of the lo jack system on his computer and study them before going out to yank some motorcycles.
