siksykorx7 Posted March 8, 2008 Report Posted March 8, 2008 i have a set of stock carbs with tors removed new carb caps throttle cable and jetted for toomey t5s at roughly 800 ft. idle screws also installed. 75 sounds good if anyone is interested , have other parts too Quote
inthemail Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 smash it untill the bottle kids come along..... Quote
gregrob Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 I just unplugged the TORS on mine and haven't had any problems. I also got the TORS kit that had the idle screws and throttle cable. Adds some level of adjustability to the carbs and cleans up the whole area. Makes jetting much easier if you pull the carbs. The whole TORS get up went in the dumpster, carb tops included. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted March 9, 2008 Report Posted March 9, 2008 why no boost bottle?? I hope your joking Quote
bansheeMO Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 How does the bike act when the TORS are acting up..... can you give examples because i think i might be having a prob with my TORS..... I put up a thread "engine problem" this morning seeking help and the homies lead me to your thread... Thanks Quote
skinindustries Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 i noticed while reading your TORS removal wich is good by the way. but did you buy new carb. caps or just cut all the wires and leave the TORS on just not hooked up Quote
lokisbuddy Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 lol nice :yelrotflmao: i was laughing about the smashing thing XD funny funny.. but see.. i torched mine with a butane torch XD. i just followed ur guide and it works great.. before all i did was just upplug the wires on my cousins banshee, they were already removed on mine. HAHA I donated mine to the homeless ( I am such a humanitarian) I think we should do a HQ sponsored "boost bottle drive for the homeless" Quote
jeepers_creepers Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 i know this is an old thread but I had one question when cutting these wires from the tors do splice any of the wires together or just leave them cut? I want to remove mine but wanted to make sure. I heard that the wires in the throttle housing get cut and twisted together Thanks This site has really helped me alot so far Quote
jeepers_creepers Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 Anyone know? I need to remove mine but I need to know if the cut wires get splice togfether or not. Thanks Quote
Michael Jackson Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 there is no splicing... im sure there is a more propper way of doing it, probably involves tearing into the whole wiring harness.. but all i did with all those useless connections like parking brake sensor, tors..ect.. just cut them clean and tape them up nice with electrical tape then tape them into the harness for a cleaner look and that should be fine Quote
