welded crank is a must especially if your bumpin up compression and spinnin some rpms with a ported motor. i have a stock welded crank done by fast racing with very low hours on it if your interested make me an offer. or i have an entire motor for sale ported welded crank etc etc

i feel your pain i had a kfx400 stole out of my truck then over a 6 foot fence last year only had it three weeks. im still gonna kill the person when i find em if i ever find em.

if i were to buy another quad other than a banshee it would be a new ktm just a better overall package in my opinion.

i went from a 45 pilot which wouldnt idle at all to a 42 which would idle only after riding for a while and the plugs are a little dark,this was with the idle screws all the way in and it seems to have a flat spot till about 1?4 throttle but it just may be the new cylinders im not used too so im gonna try a 40 and see if it helps i need to fnish breaking it in before i can really get on it and see what it does

yeah runs dam good too. ran it for about a year and a half that way and recently tore it apart pistons and rings still looked beautiful i just made sure my airbox was spotless before doing it.

you need an air filter my friend my bike acted the same way when i first put my toomeys on it with stock filter no bottom end but ran good on top,until i put a k&n airlid on it and took out the filter inside then it ran amazing on bottom and even better on top. id try a filter and go from there even a twin air or equivalent will make a noticeable difference

my buddy had one and wed run dead nuts even for the most part stock for stock once i adeed pipes it was game over. but its amazing how fast they are for how much they weigh

stud is out bike is running but cant get it to stay idling think i need a smaller pilot 42 is too big but still has wicked power love it now i just need to break it in so i can really open it up.

450s are respectable and they do get a mean holeshot but after bout 50ft you wont have enough gears to catch me unless its got some crazy ass nos and turbo bullshit on it. I never said i would beat a 450 on a track this was originally about a drag race. racing on a track is a completely different animal otherwise they wouldnt have been using 250rs for all those years. and you cant even argue that a 4 poke isnt an easier machine to ride.

couldnt agree any more if ya cant handle a 2 stoke buy a 4 stroke but dont expect to beat banshee's with a good rider
