DUB Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 When I tore my bike down I bought alot of new stuff, a new lockout clutch from direct drive being one of my mods. Now im not sure if it said anything in the installation instructions but as you can tell in the pic my brake lever is hitting the clutch cover. Any ideas?? Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 All you have to do is adjust the rod on your master cylinder so it will clear your cover. Also you may have to shim out or trim your footpeg too. Quote
BigRed350x Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 That or heat it up with a torch and tweak it over a little bit. That's probably what I would do if shims weren't enough. It doesn't take much to bend one of those if you have a torch. Put a nice little s-shape in the lever right back by the pivot point and you would be good to go. Nice blingy cover BTW. Quote

This is what I did when I got my DD cover. :baseball_mitt: Quote
