i just ordered a 13T renthal front sprocket, just wondering if anyone is running this similar setup as me or if just the 13T what they have noticed and what thier opinions are?

i like to ride in tight spaces and jumps therefor how will this effect my first 2 gears mainly as well as the rest

just looking for a lil input as to what to expect

your first two gears will seem as one, you should have ordered a 15

your saying 1st and second will be noticably faster shifts? quicker pick up more low end? cause im attempting to make the bike a lil bit more of an mx type, well bit by bit that is

approx what you think this well kill me on the top end?

also seems easy enough but is there anything i should know when changing the sprocket? will i need to get a new chain or tighten it up?

A 15 tooth for just pipes, reeds and filters..for tight trails?

I'd think he wants to get on the pipes sooner and easier, not have to stretch the gears out even further...

Well, I guess it's just as easy to go the other way if he doesn't like it...

i guess ill just how to try it n see it if i dont like it i can try the 15 or go back to my 14

they really arent all that expensive

whats involved in taking of the flywheel to be lightened?

and what exactly will a timing plate do? where do i get one? whats involved in the process of putting it on and is there anything to lose?

im really trying to make this more motocross friendly as i said before

yeah a 15 with just pipes...whats the diff pull like a raped ape on the trails or shift your ass off with little to no acceration, spinning your tires all the while, a 13 for the sand maybe, but theres nothing wrong with having your gears pull hard rather than float

tall gears for moto........ short gears you got zero hook ...........all spin and no win

I used a 13t in the dunes before I had a 4mm stroker..........and it kicked a$$............now with my 4mm I am back to stock....14/41..........but i could use a 15t which would pull it just fine.......... :thumb:

I just put a 13T on my shee ( mods listed bleow) I am trying to get more out of it for slow(er) (with my dad) trail riding so I dropped a tooth on the front which I think should help, I'll Have to see this weekend. I have not ridden on it yet but I am hopeing to see quite a difference. And I also had better like it or else I need a new chain, cause I had to take a link out of mine for my 13tooth sproket.

mine had a 13t on it when i bought it. It also had 18" tires, I hated it, had to shift way to soon. & didnt do nothing but spin the tires.

I went back to a stock 14t & it was much better, now I have a 15t & 21" paddles

Hmm...

Hey, sprockets are cheap, I guess give 'em a shot. I'm hoping in MX you're gonna have a tire that is sticky and hooks for your given track, holeshots or some Razr or something similar...

And...I agree, the banshee is FAR from an ideal MX machine. Any of the 450 Crop will blow circles around it...unless it's got LONG straigtaways and a alot of 'em...
