  1. :biggrin: yep i sure have, and i will continue on doin so if i cant find anything in canada with good stuff, but importing that stuff into canada cost me nearly an extra 100$ and i also orders from noss at the same time which cost me about the same, real pain in the ass when its all said and done, customs ends up being the ones making all the money anyways im sure ill be in touch with you again sooner or later little off topic but anyone know of a site like this site (which is extremely helpful) where i can find info on kx 250's?
  2. once again thanks for all the help guys, i really just wasnt sure if i was going to have to order parts from yamaha as well as the impeller from else wheres, anyone know a place i can order a prodesign billet impeller in canada?
  3. gear up in the front indtead with similar mods to yours i pull a 15 sprocket pretty well, a 13 seemed way to short of gears for me even when i was close to stock
  4. is the plastic gear inside to the rigth side (under the clutch cover) the impeller itself or just a gear that turns the impeller? cause i been reading that the impellers are shit and break alot and the thing which i just described i have just found to broken under the clutch cover is this the peice you can get made from billet that is alot better?
  5. once i get my other problems figured out i think i will try out the 300's, 4 sizes seems a lil much for my application if you take into account its already jetted for having the snorkel off too, ill have to try a plug chop after i throw the 300's in i suppose
  6. last time i had the bike jetted it was by the dealer when i bought pipes/silencers, k&n filter, boyseen reeds, and a dynojet stage 2 kit, no snorkle, they jetted it accordingly and it ran good (280 mains) my elevation approx sea level, now i want to put the k&n powerlid does 1 main jet size up sound like enough? seems to be running well
  7. when adjusting my clutch today i noticed that the spot on the case where the kickstarter gear spring as they call it mates into the the casing is has been broken [in clymers manual page 169 fig 74 (a)] so now what teh hell do i do? its a piece of the casing, i guess i have to have someone weld it up and shape it or what? anyone else had a problem similar to this?
  8. i just put in a wiscoe hotrods crank trued and welded by F.A.S.T. when i redid the top end and put the head on not even 2 weeks ago

  10. ya thats what i was wondering, cant remember i think stock is 120 or so, my elevation is near sea level, few hundred feet above at most, also when doing a compression test do you do it warm or cold? i did it cold
  11. needed to adjust my clutch the other day and pulled the side cover off and noticed there was no nut and found a washer kinda ground up in the case, cleaned that up and found a nut that fit and loctighted it up and put it on, well today my clutch went limp i can only assume i lost the nut again, what the hell is going on here? any ideas?
  12. yea i would say she is fully broken in now, how much mroe compression am i lookign at going one step smaller domes (20cc) or would i be able to run more than that without needing to switch from pump gas?
  13. just pressure tested my new rebuilt motor .40 over with prolites and a hotrod crank, got 125psi each side, would i be able to bump one more size with the domes and keep running pump gas?
  14. my bars are toast, looking for an opinion what bend may be good for me to try out im a short guy, stubby arms and stuff :shrug: u know, i never had a problem with the stock bars or nothing but why not try something new, i like to jump alot and trail ride, head out to the mx track on weekends, any suggestions?
  15. im not looking for an end all answer more or less just a guideline of what people think with my mods i wont have to run race gas, a starting point at what i should purchase and and then tinker around from there if need be afterwards
  16. compression test could be a little bit of a problem at the moment because the engine is in pieces on my bench and im waiting on some parts at the moment, last compression test i had i was 85 on one side and 95 on the other but that was when i blew er up so thats not really of any consequence
  17. i am going to buy a noss head and am wondering what domes size i will need, i just went 40 over and and runnign wisecos, no porting, fmf fattys/powercore 2's, kn filter, boyessen reeds, and a dynojet kit my elevation is close to sea level maybe a few hunder feet max, i would like to bump the compression but i only want to run pump gas, also i may buy a wisecoe crank... would that be a good investment? thanks for any help guys...help fast please...need to have this thing running again in 2 weeks

    got my xrays and i broke my collar bone in 4 dif spots, tmr i need to go back and see the surgeon to find out if they need to pin it in place

    its about 630 am and i been in a bit of pain for a lil while now, i definatlt broke my collar bone while riding last night, went to the hospital and the doc said my collar bone was stickin out really far and that i most definatly broke it,but they have no x-ray guys till 8am so i will have have to go back in a lil bit i honrdtly have to say this injury is not nearly as painfull as i thought, but dony go doin it for fun, doc said ill be outta work for about 6 weeks prolly more since im in construcion sry bout shitty typing im using my left arm, i dunno how im gunna jerk off for the next few weeeks hahahahah

  22. yea it usually starts up pretty good, minus the times when i flood it what type of port is my best bet if i plan on porting it? also where should i get it done and approx how much should i be looking at? i live in canada too so if anyone knows a good builder in sw ontario let me know, mostly ride on tracks and trails and i would liek to get into some minor mx riding
  23. hahaha so true, my best buddy and me got thrown in the drunk tank the one nigth and the only reason i was there and not just him was cause i was sticking up for him and i was hardly even drinking, meanwhile he passes out in the tank and when he wakes up he starts nlaming me for everything and saying whenever we go out its me that cause the shit hahaha i looked at him then began to tell him what happened that night and he sat there slowly remembering, buddies never let buddies go to jail by themselves haha
