Just off the top of my head I don't remember any o-ring behind the clutch. Look at the thread I made about splitting the cases with walkthrough pictures and see if you can see the o-ring thing you are talking about in that topic.

Im not sure where you are talking about. Is it inside the clutch cover or are you talking about the back side of the clutch cover insert? I cant think of any o-rings inside the clutch cover.

If you look at the parts list below, you'll see there's no o-ring.

The Pic#17 in the Clymers Ch.6 shows a big O-ring behind what they call the "clutch housing", or

"Ref No. 5 PRIMARY DRIVEN GEAR COMP. " in the picture shown below.

I also can not re-collect an o-ring there on my bike.

i know this is asked over and over...i'm installing a clutch best way to adj..i'm scared cause it's not my bike i'm doing the work on so some tips or detailed stuff on this is highly needed! something i could print out and read while i'm doing! it's a aftermarket clutch so the clymer kinda stumps me when talking about the stock stuff!!!! I still have no idea WTF you are talking about with this o-ring. Clutch housing means nothing to me. Are you talking about the clutch cover, clutch basket, what...??? There is no o-ring on the back of anything in the clutch area. The only o-ring on the clutch side of things is on the water impeller line where it goes into the clutch cover. I still have no idea what you are talking about. Take a picture of it and we can help you.

Also, what are you doing working on someone elses stuff if you don't know what you are doing? Get a clymer manual if you are lost with something.
