Bansh88 Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 What are you PCing? I 've used Powder1 twice. Unimpressed. East County Powdercoat appears to be the best in SD. They do offroad all day and will know what will be best. I tried some PC shop off of Olde Hwy 80 and the guy (barely spoke English) didn't know what an ATV was! Quote

bansheeryder21 Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Don't go to Powderone in el cajon! Haven't heard any good things about them! They were going to charge my friend $200 for his 20" bmx frame! There's a place called Volcano polishing and chroming on greenfield in El Cajon. It's about 100 yards from where I live! They do good work but don't know their prices! Call them 619.588.6557. I heard that you can get stuff chromed in Mexico for cheap and it's a better job because they can use chemicals that the US is not otherized to. Do some research though before you get anything done it TJ! LOL! Quote

easyrider470 Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 There is also a place that i have used called Elderado Sand Blasting and Powder coating down by 32nd street. They did the frame on my 400ex a couple years ago and i just had them do the engine cases and the hubs and a few other parts for that bike not to long ago. They do greta work and the turnaround is great. Also the pricing was good too. I think I only payed 185 for the frame to get done. Anyhow call down there and ask for Kevin....he is the owner. He's an older guy and a real nice guy to boot......here's the # 619-696-0700 Quote
