Hey it's proven to work....Kevin Herr ports are superior to just about anything else out there. Proven, reliable engines and ports. Doesn't take a TON of money and brand name parts to be fast. You guys should all know that by now. So, lets get back to the thread....I'm selling this banshee.... I'm asking 3,300 but i'm entertaining offers. Make me a REASONABLE offer and it's yours.

gotta go fast....read the whole point I made. I said one of the fastest duner/drag banshees AT THE DRAGS. Not in glamis man.....there are 10,000 dollar banshees that come to glamis and they are full drag shees. BUT for the average guy that cruises this forum, those are the things that will get you in the W column at the sand drags at Glamis....SEEN it, DONE it, got the t-shirt.

thanks for agreeing that the bike is worth well over 2200.....those flames on that bike in the San Diego ad must ad like 5 HP....LOL. Seriosly though....this bke is a proven duner, has HERR JUGGS racing head on it, 2 into 1 carb, +4 timing, lightened flywheel, bars, stem, axle, fullbores, the works. Someone come and get this thing for 3,000 and be stoked about how much bike you get for that money. Throw a set of shearers and a $300 dune/drag port job on this bike and you'll be one of the fastest duner/drag banshee's at the drags at glamis. Believe me I know...

I could see if ti was stock all around. You can port and do whatever to the motor when it's yours....but the +4 swing arm, +4 axle, +1 anti vibe stem, full bore plastics, and the 2 into 1 carb set up....those aren't cheap upgrades....we're not talking about a stock bike here. Well over 2,000 in upgrades. Stock, sure i would see that 2,000 no problem and i'd take it. This bike has all the pretty stuff without going over the top, and it's mechanically ready for a big port or whatever you want to do to it.

THANKS for your opinion. If you look around at banshees that are $2,000 then you'll see what that kind of money gets you...this is not a 2,000 dollar banshee. Instead of critiquing my pricing why don't you guys look at the original post and see that i'm asking 3300 OBO...2,000 is the lowest offer I have received and it's to low for me, thanks for telling me what my bike is worth though.

2,000 is quite a bit low bud. I am open to reasonable offers but that's to low.

Sorry for the forever and a day on the update....here's the deal we tok it apart and found that the bearing on the gear the kick starter engages had disintegrated....so when the bearing came apart a piece actually got stuck in the cogs and locked up the piece that slides on the shaft to go from gear to gear. So, i replaced the bearing and put it all back together lastnight.....NOW THERE"S another problem!!!! The shift shaft that the clutch cable connects to is easily moved by hand and isn't doing anything.....clutch cable is limp.....oh and now the bike won't shift above FOURTH gear....so i'm pretty sure we missed something when we had the cases apart. So, recap.....i need to know why it won't go past fourth now....AND i need to know why the shift shaft where the clutch cable connects is dead...no resistance at all on the clutch cable.....did i mention how much i need to get this thing fixed because we are leaving for GLAMIS on SATURDAY morning.....oh yeah the huge trip of the year....gotta love it.,

well i have thought about building a lockout duner trans but i'm not going to do that till the motor gets ported...so that is a little while down the road. i am guilty of shifting without the clutch as well as clutching the bike a lot....i mean A LOT.....our dune group has a bunch of little kids that are learning to ride still and i always ride in the back....a lot of the time i end up getting close and bogg down and need to clutch the bike to get the RPM up....anyhow, i'm going o do the shift star mod so it'll shift better......looks like the all the shift forks are bent since it won't even go into gear...

The shifter moves just fine and it's almost like the little arm that grabs the star isn't moving far enough.....the arm moves up and down but doesn't move that star....Nothin unusual started this process just some good hard dune riding with my friends.....thing stuck in third gear and I had to mash the shifter to get it to neutral.....my buddy thinks it's a bent shift fork....the 2 3 shift fork....i'm going to pull the engine out tonight and split the cases to see if thee is anything else I can see.....like i said the shifter moves and rewturns to center just fine but it's not moving the star.....weird?
