jbooker82 Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 Mind did that when it was over full. The trans level would show low right after stoppin to check it. If I let is sit the the trans level would show over full. Is it just seeping out or is it puking it out? Quote
cdwood37 Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 i just had to put crank seals in a banshee because the right hand crank seal was leaking and pressuring up the cases and pushing oil out Quote
woodro77 Posted July 20, 2006 Author Report Posted July 20, 2006 just had new seals put in bottom end , complete rebuild , oil level shows that it is low , so cant be to much Quote
Rustbag Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 I've seen this question asked before and no one ever gave a satisfactory reply. Lots of replys stating the tranny fluid must be too high. I wish I knew what to tell u. Maybe someone who has had this problem will chime in. Quote
96dragbanshee Posted July 21, 2006 Report Posted July 21, 2006 just had new seals put in bottom end , complete rebuild , oil level shows that it is low , so cant be to much Well i hate to say it but sounds like your bottom end has an air leak. Mine did the same thing when i had air leak. When u do a leak down test are your readings in the specs? If you did it yourself you may not have gotten the seal set good enough to stop air leaking. Do a leak down test and see if your in the specs. If you didnt get the torque right on all of the bolts when putting case back together you may have air leak causing it. Let us know what you find out with leak down test. Quote
