Heres the deal the quad will idle rev up ok but when you put it in gear it just dies and if you can get it rollin it will run but keep jumping like it wants to go but just wont, this is a fresh rebuild,things i have done so far are clean the carbs spotless and change the plugs any other ideas??When i said jumping up above its wierd it pulls then dies real quick its real hard jerk almost hard to hang on but it will just not run smooth this is a 1st for me any ideas??

something with the clutch would be my bet.

sure head is tight and seated correctly ? are al l cylinder bolts tighten,sealed and compression test doen to be sure the topend has good compression . flywheel key is not sheared . clutch is good and adjusted correctly . plugs have good strong spark i neach side /carbs are sealed and jetted aprox for mods . coolant isnt leaking into the cylinder

spark plugs are new and fuel is fresh premium stuff , air is getting into the carbs unobstructed

reeds are not frayed or cracked or installed incorrectly . fuel lines are clear and engine is getting plenty of fuel .pistons are in correct way and rings are in correct as well

Comon fellas i wanna rip my shee, clutch is doubtfull im thinkin along the lines of spark power i has nice blue spark but the way its cuttin out i dont no? your guys guess is better than mine...

Sounds electrical to me. Test your stator etc.

Thanx guys gonna try everything today, hell if ya think of anyother possibilitys keep em comin, btw dead op i found out new media runs quads so when i get mine runnin good well have to go down there and run the 1/8 mile on pavement should be sick

this prolly isnt the problem but it could have something to do with the parkin brake switch that wont allow the engine to rev if the parkbrake is on. u know the one i mean an the clutch lever, the black wire that plugs into the clutch /brake assembly........ just a thought
