bansheefourseven Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Hey fellas, whats happening? I am a 26 yr old shee newb and am just saying hello to all. Im coming up from a (laugh all you want) warrior and had a few questions. I have a 1999 shee that just had the top end redone .020 over with toomeys, K&N other than that pretty much stock other than suspension. How are they in the trails because thats mostly the riding I do and Im a big guy 6' 250lbs. Its got +2+1 a-arms and works all around valved for a 225lbs guy so its close enough I guess. It also has a LSR +4 axle. stock length swing arm. My warrior was bored and stroked to 430ccs and still had trouble with a piped filtered 400ex. So I am so glad to be back in 2 stoke dusty smoke land. Im a pretty experienced rider and like to go fast within limits. Ill take the double jump when its presented to me but I do much better with my large ass planted and on the gas. I sold my triple piped triple 700 yamaha sled for my warrior and that was like going from corvette to chevette so Its great to be back. My sled dynoed at 169 horse and 121 tq at the crank so she was anus tightening fast. What kinda setups are working for the trails. Dont get me wrong a few dune trips are in the works but mostly trails up near crooked lake in michigan. Im from Taylor which is pretty close to detroit metro airport. Ive got holeshots all around and love the way they slide and grip when I want. My buddy is the sole reason for me getting the shee so Id like to say thanks to you B man (250r guy) Ill be around alot and look forward to meeting some of ya on the trails. Any replies would be great Quote

Hilarious Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Welcome to the HQ. I too, upgraded from the warrior. Still have it as a matter of fact. Does extremely well as a beer cooler mover. Your 'shee should do well in your trails. I used to trail ride my 'shee and had a hella fun time doin' it. The 'shee can be a handfull though, in the technical stuff. :baseball_w00t:  Quote

Im coming from riding the grayling/frederic area off I-75 exit 264 for the last few seasons. Bull Gap is definitely in the plans for the year but not sure when.
