I don't think soap will remove mineral deposits. Maybe try something like CLR. Be sure to use distilled water when you fill it back up and you won't have that problem.

I dont know if I would use clr, I was gonna use it and if you read the instructions it says not to use on aluminum, so I figured my radiator wasnt a good place to try it out. I used vinegar and it worked ok, but another off the wall thing is coka-cola. it has been used in cars and actually works well, just drain it , fill it with coke and ride it till its hot then flush it out good with water and it should be clean. I used coke in my radiator with it iff the bike and even cold it did clean it, not to mention created enough pressure when lightly shaking the radiator to blow one of the plugs I had on the outlets off :yelrotflmao:

anything acidic will work. weither its clr, coke, vinegar, radiator flush, etc. the acid eats away at the milerals, and to a small extent any steel or aluminum you have in the cooling system.

just dont use muriatic acid and you should be OK.
