Timing plate safe with these mods

Hi I right now have a totally stock shee. Well not for long. Since buying it two weeks ago i already have on order the following

 

-T5 Kit

-Cool head w/ 21cc domes

-billet impellar

-adjustable timing plate

-lightened flywheel

-trinity 2 into 1

-trail porting in near future!

 

I am wondering if i will be safe to run the recommended +4 timing while still running on pump gas. I live in western MA and beleive the elevation to be less than 1000ft. Thanks in advance.

I've got similar mods and I'm in Western MA too, you should be good at +4 with that set up.

At the time I put my plate on, I had less mods and it was fine......

You will be safe with +4. I would not go any higher than that until you get porting and then change your domes.

Any help with the install?? Is the plate something you bolt on to the quad, or place on it, adjust, and then remove again? What keeps the adjustment "locked?"
