Crossbone Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 Ok so Iv been hearing people talk about cranks and what ones are good and what ones are bad..... WTF it seems like no one can decide whats the best. Veto's suposable are super cheap and weisco weld break???? Than whats good? Quote
dajogejr Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 Get the wiseco, and have it re-welded by someone who knows what they're doing.... There are several reputable builders here that more than capable. PM Jeff @ FAST racing (FASTOYS) for a price... When I built my cub, no one touched his price on any of the parts he sold me, (cub, crank, pistons, head, etc.)... Quote
Crossbone Posted May 29, 2006 Author Report Posted May 29, 2006 Yeah seems like thats what everyones been telling me.... guess ill have to do and see what happens. Quote
Animalman294 Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 dajogejr is right the added weld by your builder is the best, but I would go with Wiseco and Jeff at FAST............. Quote
njbanshee Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 I bought weisco and had it trued and welded by east coast atv. The crank weld came loose after i had just really broke in the bike. Quote
9603banshee Posted June 18, 2006 Report Posted June 18, 2006 Actually I believe Vito's cranks are a wiseco crank w/ the Vito's name on it.....Kinda like their fat bastard pipes are basically shearers & several other parts of theirs.... Quote

knight_ripper Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 dont forget their pistons....again wiseco knockoffs. I need a crank......cant beleive I have to buy a new one and then have it welded. what a crock of shit. kinda like the new zuki 450's. spend 8 grand only to have a rear shock up your ass after a few months of hard riding. and their answer......get it welded before it breaks. fastbanshee4u Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Vitos has gotten away from some of Wiseco stuff, getting cheaper over seas stuff.Buy a wiseco and as far as the weld,a stock one is not even welded. Quote
23champ Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 I've heard bad things about vitos cranks..If I recall, I think it was bkabina on here that had one break and destroy his motor.....I have a hot rods crank (wiseco) and the welds have broke on it. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other......................
