fastcar01
While riding this weekend (first time really playing with it). I noticed that when you let off the gas and hit it again the tranny makes a noice. It sound like the gear engage synchros (I am nto sure what they are called, the four tabs on the gear that catch the next one. At first I thouhgt it was a chain noise, but it isn;t it is the tranny noice. It works fine, but my other machiens have neevr done this. Could there be an issue? fastcar01
I guess it could be. Next time I play with it, I will see if I can pin point it. Is there something I can do to check out that roller, is there a spec? Thanks
DIRTMAN350
JUst loosen up your chain and spin the rollers. They should spin freely without any noises. If they don't spin freely replace them!
creamsickle
the bushing on your clutch basket could be going out. I know they make that noise like when you described. it also can make that chatter when its at real low rpms like almost about to die. if you dont have steel bushings yet I insist you get them.
