DIRTMAN350 Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 Hey guys i need your input on this one. I performed a search but got some mixed reviews. I just replaced my stock clutch with a tusk clutch and left the cushions in place. They all looked ok but the problem is with the clutch adjusted correctly my shee wants to creep forward with clutch lever pulled in. Should i remove the cushions and retry to see if it goes away. Will the cushions cause the clutch plates to hang up and allow it to creep forward with level pulled all the way in? Any help would be great. Quote
ssanddemon Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 I believe most aftermarket clutches call for those rubber cushions to get pitched. They are there to soften up the clutch engagement which is not really a good thing. Quote
[email protected] Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 my old setup used to creep forward with a barnett dirt digger , switched to vitos and never had a problem ......... Quote
csrmel Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 can you remove these cushons from an oem clutch, and how involved would this process be? Quote
cdwood37 Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 You are supposed to remove the cushions the directions for my clutch stated that. Quote

Then back together again. Quote
