Its a 535 Cheetah motor, over-ride tranny (Whatever that is) +12" Swing Arm and all kinds of doodads that i have no idea what they are

 

From your description on parts, I'd say you better have some health insurance. Also did you get that off planet sand?

He also got a PVL ignition on that bike. 110 -115 on race gas. 125 -130 or so on alky or more. Hang on-to-it I know. A 535 10/mm is actually, well can't say out dated but small to what's out there today. You better read the manual on that bike. LOL  nice bike though I wish you luck

Are the PVL's any good? We dont deal with them only Dyna.

 

As for the seat cover you dont want it. It has some custom writing on it. I am looking at a couple on Ebay. I also will probably paint the plastic black this week, not really into purple. Plus the frame is red so black will look good with my red Hipers.

 

Man you guys got me scared of that tranny. I know how to shift it but what if i forget once to pull the cluch while im slowing. Is once enough to do the damage? If so then i guess i better not forget.

 

Damn i cant wait to take it out. Our next dune trip is on the 2nd-3rd & 4th at Sandlake.

once is enough to bend the shift forks. then ull be tearin the motor apart to fix it.

Clean lookin bike, and it sounds like it's got a hell of a motor. Your cosmetic plans sound pretty good, but are those plastics already painted?!? I think I would sell those and find a set of plain black fullbores, unless you plan on a bad ass paint job. I'm usually a big fan of Hipers, but not on that bike. What's the need to put beadlocks on it? It would just make it heavier. And careful with that tranny. I would have bought a little less of a bike for a duner...

Man i would look into new plastic but i just bought this bike and i dont want to get divorced So painted will have to do......for now. I prolly should have bout a little less of a bike but oh well. I am already making plans to ditch the over-ride tranny. But even that is going to cost quite a few $. Your probably right about the hipers, but they would look cool though.

Seems like it would be cheaper for you to try to trade it with someone who has black plastic or sell it and buy black plastic vs painting it. If you paint it and you do it right. It could get expensive.

sorry but if you dont know what an over ride tranny is and what all those other "doo dads" are i dont think you have any business riding it. i think youd be better off on a 250 or 300 ex from the sounds of it. that way you can learn what all the doo dads are before you go riding a bike with all those doo dads...and you say u rode it on cement? well i highly doubt it. if you did in fact ride it, and dont know what an over ride tranny is i have good reason to believe that you already tore the shift forks up in the motor.

if people ask what my bike has , i say " all the goodies " Once you deal with a few thousand into motor work you being to look at it as just " doo dads" or " goodies " ... but i know the parts funktions and how to install them .

 

Some people have enough money to go "damn i want to go fast and look cool doing it how much???" ! ! !

 

to me i admire that because i dont have the money to do that , i have had to work my way up from a damn 190cc joke to a 10 mill banshee ......... You on the other hand probly have worked and saved up for your bad ass toy ! All you people bashing on him , stop bein jealous and admire the bike you wish you had ........ well judging by the look on his bike , i would think this guy would be doing a house of kolor paint job and that can get excess of 500 in paint alone depending on brand of paint you use , the cheapy nice shit we painted the gsxr with is still 280 bucks in paint only

Your way off. I am putting a cheap paint job on it now for our next trip just to get the purple off. BUT i am going to look to THESE Guys to do the "REAL" Paint job which will run close to $2000. There are a couple of people who learned the same technice that i might look into for cheaper but that true fire is bad ass i have to have it.
